These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Thermolytics platform, website (thermolytics.in), and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Thermolytics ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information; maintain the security of your password; accept responsibility for all activities under your account; notify us immediately of any unauthorised use. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Free Forever Plan: Access to Direct Efficiency, Steam Tables, and Fuel Analysis with up to 3 saved calculations.
Paid Plans (Weekly / Monthly): Billed weekly (₹799) or monthly (₹5,000) in Indian Rupees (INR) via Razorpay or US Dollars (USD) via Stripe. Prices are exclusive of applicable GST (18%). Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time from your account settings — access continues until the end of the billing period.
You agree not to: use the Service for any unlawful purpose; attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the calculation engine; share your account credentials with third parties; use automated scripts to access the Service beyond published API rate limits; interfere with the security or integrity of the Service.
Important: Thermolytics provides calculation tools based on established engineering standards (BEE India Guide Book 2). However, results are for informational and analytical purposes only. They do not constitute professional engineering advice. Actual boiler performance may vary based on operating conditions, equipment condition, and measurement accuracy. We recommend validating critical results with qualified professionals before making capital expenditure decisions. We are not liable for decisions made based on calculation results.
The Service, including its calculation engine, user interface, design, code, and content, is owned by Thermolytics and protected by intellectual property laws. Your calculation data and reports belong to you. You grant us a limited licence to process and store your data solely for providing the Service.
Certain features use artificial intelligence (via Anthropic's Claude API) to generate recommendations. AI outputs are suggestions based on patterns and should not be treated as definitive engineering assessments. Only anonymised calculation data is shared with the AI provider — never personal information.
We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors beyond our control (internet outages, cloud provider issues, force majeure).
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Thermolytics shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
